Bishop (Lucas Bishop) Created by writer John Byrne, artist Whilce Portacio and artist/co-plotter Jim Lee, Bishop first appeared briefly in Uncanny X-Men #282 (November 1991).
Bishops 1st Cameo Appearance
Even though this was is only considered a Cameo appearance by both Marvel and CGC, he is clearly identified on the cover. This would also make X-Man #282 his first Cover appearance.
Bishop continues to be popular, even briefly appearing in the X-Men: Days of Futures Past movie. There was even a minor uproar when he showed up on the Movie Theater screen when I went to see it.
If you ask me, this is a very undervalued Modern key with one of the cooler 90's esque art covers.

Bishops 1st Appearance
Bishop's First Full Appearance is credited to X-Men 283. Most of the time, the 1st full appearance is worth more than the cameo appearance, but I feel like the cover Art on 282 looks way better. 282 also features Bishop prominently on the center of the cover, even calling out His Name is Bishop.
If you run across a cheap, high grade copy of either 282 or 283, I wouldn't hesitate to pick them up. Heck, 283 is so cheap right now, it might be worth the risk of hanging on to a few copies to see if they will go up in value based on the strength of CGC calling this Bishop's First Full Appearance.

While he is not credited on imdb for the 3rd Wolverine movie titled Logan, we can only hope they find a place for this popular character to make another appearance.
